We all have our own experience of a place. Staff from Kirklees Council and local volunteers were out and about in Huddersfield town centre this summer asking you to share your experiences of your town.

Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing wanted to hear people’s thoughts on Holme Park Court, Bishops Court and the surrounding area. People took part in some drop-in activities. Staff from KNH and Kirklees Council were also out and about in the area.

400 people took part in the Ask Shepley conversations. Volunteers worked through all the results then invited people to come along to one of their “Time to Decide” sessions in July 2019, to see the results and say what they’d like to happen next.

We first tested out the Place Standard in Golcar, Cowlersley, Milnsbridge and Longwood. 240 citizens took part in the conversations. Watch our video and see the results.
