We asked you about life in Marsden
Marsden Community Trust and other local groups, Colne Valley ward councillors and Kirklees Council are working together to find out what really matters to you in Marsden. Thank you very much to the 664 people who have taken part. Together you’ve shared over 4,100 comments, including lots of ideas for the future.
What’s happening now?
We now need your help to convert your feedback and ideas into actions. Anyone who is interested is invited to get involved.
The action plan will help inform funding and investment in Marsden, to reflect what people have told us.
What people have said
In Winter 2023, we held ‘Next steps’ drop-in sessions to discuss the results of the ‘What matters to Marsden’ engagement, and to work with local people to prioritise what is important to them. This included an option to complete an online questionnaire, which was shaped by what we’ve learned from participants so far.
