We’re pleased to be supporting our town centre regeneration colleagues at Kirklees Council and local councillors, who want to find out more about what residents, visitors and local business owners think of Holmfirth town centre.
We all want to see our town centres revitalised and to do this we really need to know what people think about them.
Kirklees Council are investing in Holmfirth town centre, as part of our small town centres funding. We are also investing in other ways. We’d really like to hear what people think about their town centre, to help decide how these funds can best be used.
Please get involved in “Your voice, your Holmfirth” to share your experiences and ideas about things like access and facilities, being environmentally friendly, or ways of welcoming children and families to the town centre.
The activities in Holmfirth town centre are running from 6th September to 15th October 2021 and are supported by the Holme Valley South ward councillors. We’re using the Place Standard tool, which is a way of helping to get conversations going about any place, by using some simple questions.
The more people who take part, the more we’ll learn about what really matters to people who visit, live in or work in Holmfirth town centre. Citizens can take part in local conversations, join in online or complete a printed copy of our questionnaire.
What you tell us will help to shape how we’ll invest in Holmfirth town centre.
