We’re pleased to be supporting our town centre regeneration colleagues at Kirklees Council and local councillors, who want to find out more about what residents, visitors and local business owners think of Batley town centre.
Please get involved in “Batley – Our town centre” to share your experiences and ideas. We’re using the Place Standard tool to do this. It’s a way of helping to get conversations going about any place, by using some simple questions. You might have something to say about improving access or facilities, being environmentally friendly, or ways of welcoming children and families to the town centre.
The activities in Batley town centre are running from 12th July to 9th August 2021 and are supported by the Batley East and Batley West ward councillors.
The more people who take part, the more we’ll learn about what really matters to people who live or work in Batley town centre. Citizens can take part in local conversations, join in online or complete a printed copy of our questionnaire.
What you tell us will help to shape ideas about what a future Batley town centre could be like.
