We’re delighted to be supporting members of Meltham Town Council and volunteers from the town, who will be out and about in Meltham, Helme and Wilshaw during July 2019, asking what people think of the area.
We’re using a tool called the “Place Standard”. This is a way of helping to get conversations going about any place (it could be your street, neighbourhood or town), by using some simple questions.
The team have been busy learning how to use the tool, sharing updates via the Mercury, and asking local organisations and venues to get involved.
The volunteers want to hear your views, which Meltham Town Council will use to make sure that its planning reflects the priorities identified by Meltham residents, businesses and local groups. The information will also be available for other organisations to use.
Please look out for the Ask Meltham volunteer team in and around the town this July. You can find out more about how to get involved on the Ask Meltham web pages:
