East Bierley Village Preservation Society and the Birstall and Birkenshaw councillors are working together to find out what really matters to you in East Bierley. Everyone in the village had the opportunity to complete a postal questionnaire in October 2020, or to take part online.

What happened next?

Kirklees Council helped to analyse what everyone has told us. We then shared the results, both in East Bierley and online. The East Bierley Village Preservation Society and local councillors have used what we learned to help create an action plan and to apply for funding for our area.
