We’re testing out a tool called the “Place Standard”. This is a way of helping to get conversations going about any place (it could be your street, neighbourhood or town), by using some simple questions. The Place Standard is already widely used in Scotland, to help citizens and organisations talk about places.
The test will run in Golcar, Cowlersley, Milnsbridge and Longwood for two weeks, from Monday 16 July to Sunday 29 July 2018. You might see staff from Kirklees Council and Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing out and about during that time, and we’re contacting lots of local organisations who might want to join in. Our thanks to the Golcar Ward councillors who will be actively involved.
We are all keen to know whether you find it useful.
If you have any questions or comments, please let us know.
Our thanks to Glasgow City Council & NHS Health Scotland
for the use of the Place Standard tool.
