We asked you about life in Ravensthorpe
In Summer 2021 we asked you some questions about what life in Ravensthorpe is like. Dewsbury West ward councillors and Kirklees Council staff are working together to find out what really matters to you in Ravensthorpe. People took part in local conversations and completed our questionnaire, either on paper or online. We’re now taking the next step and asking more people to get involved to help prioritise and respond to the ideas.

What happened next?
Kirklees Council helped to analyse what everyone has told us. We then shared the results online. Ward councillors, along with Kirklees Council staff, have created an action plan for the area, based on local people’s priorities.
We’re keen to continue working with people in Ravensthorpe, and we would like to hear from anyone who wants to get involved.
