What happened next?
Kirklees Council helped to analyse what everyone has told us. We then shared the results online. Kirkburton and Highburton Community Association and your ward councillors, along with Kirklees Council staff, have created an action plan for the area, based on local people’s priorities. The action plan was discussed at a Kirkburton Parish Council meeting in March 2023.
We’re keen to continue working with people in Kirkburton and Highburton, to input further to the action plan and ensure it reflects things you said are a priority for our area.
