Investing in our small town centres
We all want to see our town centres revitalised and to do this we really need to know what people think about them.
Our town centres provide a range of business, cultural, leisure and local retail facilities and are also areas of local growth. Kirklees Council are investing £1.5m in Heckmondwike town centre, as part of our small town centres funding. We are also investing in other ways.
We know that how our towns look and feel is important in attracting people to visit them. We want our towns to be clean, environmentally friendly, and welcoming for children and families.
By taking part, you’re helping to inform the improvements to Heckmondwike town centre, by helping us understand what’s important to you.
