Holme Valley North ward councillors, supported by Brockholes C of E Junior and Infant School, asked local people what they think about life in Brockholes. We used a tool called the “Place Standard” which is a way of encouraging conversations about your local place.
Who participated?
We promoted Ask Brockholes locally on noticeboards, via community groups, with local businesses and on social media. There were three drop-in events at Brockholes Village Hall. Children took part in group conversations at Brockholes C of E Junior and Infant School. 751 local households and businesses received a paper questionnaire and freepost return envelope. 76 people took part online.
