Partners and Kirklees Council staff asked local people about what they think of living in Walpole. We used a tool called the “Place Standard”. This is a way of helping to get conversations going about any place (it could be your street, neighbourhood or town), by using some simple questions.
Who participated?
We visited different streets in Walpole, going door to door, attended holiday camp activities for young people and local schools. Different partner organisations and teams including schools, Detached Youth Team, Homes and Neighbourhoods Service and the Police, worked together to have lots of conversations in Walpole. 39 assessments were completed online.
