Netherton and South Crosland Community Group asked local people what they think about life in Netherton and South Crosland. We used a tool called the “Place Standard”. This is a way of helping to get conversations going about any place (it could be your street, neighbourhood or town), by using some simple questions.
Who participated?

As we were unable to have face to face conversations with local groups and individuals during this time, most people who took part completed our online questionnaire. We also provided paper copies on request, along with a freepost envelope. There were 10 local volunteers who delivered leaflets, put up posters and encouraged people to get involved. Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop, Netherton Junior and Infant School, and Eco360 Hygiene Products displayed large banners for us. We shared information on social media, including via the Netherton Community Facebook group.
